Start9 is fully open-source. Their approved apps on their marketplace are open-source. And they make it easy to maintain a server. Not so much for Umbrel.
Ease of use, and a commitment to open-source, are strong selling points for their version of a pre-built.

I get where you are coming from, but it seems your article's audience is for tech nerds, tech savvy, or devs, who may have already been figuring this stuff out on their own. The whole point of the pre-built is to make it easier to be self-sovereign for those less inclined to want to go the CLI route. Both are valid ways to think about being self-sovereign. I dont see the trap.

El Salvador needs investment. Banking, wallets with micro loans, ETF's, VC's, business intermediaries, business consolidators, all these types investors would be welcomed to jumpstart the business growth in this wonderful and ready to go country.
Most businesses are microbusinesses that need microloans to help with cash flow to pay for inventory. A forward thinking business would do well here. Repayment can be daily, thru transactions, through point of sale software, or streaming payments, all are valid. Think outside the box and try it out. These business owners need your business.
I believe there is a path for every socieconomic level to have bitcoin through saving and earning bitcoin (not just buying outright) while spending fiat. There are tools available that need to be promoted to those in harsher economic situations. Education is key.
