Exactly what im saying. No observer, no beauty.
What I think is interesting about this idiom is the notion that an observer is what gives a thing the quality of beauty. Without an observer, there is none. It is the answer to the question: "If a tree falls in the woods and no one hears it, does it make a sound?"
I didn't know how badly I never wanted wanted to see this.

This year's pumpkin
Just finished The Fountainhead. It's an interesting and relevant take on the state of modern building. Not perfectly descriptive of the issues, but I suppose that wasn't really the point.
I chuckled pretty hard at the electrician hating on architects. Its true that tradesman don't have much respect for a builder who has never spent time working on tools.
They could refuse to hire a man for any reason they like, or rent an apartment for any reason as well. Women have requirements that men do not. Women take more days off work, are more sensitive and cause more nuisance with complaints and grievances than men do. That is a fact.
Forcing employers to hire them or landlords to house them at the point of a gun didn't make society better, nor did it release Women from any type of bondage. It did the exact opposite. Most men don't work because we want to, we work because we have to. The same is now true of the vast majority of women. By doubling the labour force, we cut the value of that labour by half, and now women who would like nothing more than to stay at home and raise children don't even have that option unless their partner is in the top 5% of earners. Women's "liberation" was a psyop and you've been tricked into believing that you are more free when in fact you have all become slaves to the system that traditionally only shackled men.
I wouldn't even notice until I get a new phone
And yet, luckily for bitcoiners, the price of bitcoin has been largely unaffected to date.

Gonna need a reminder not to quit my job some time in the next 4 years too
This is true on several levels and the realization happens about a different set of invisible rules at every stage of development.
