It is possible to be your own guru and not have to pay insta influencers to teach you enlightenment to line their pockets. Meditation, nature, creative expression, etc help immensely. There are ancient tools freely available for those willing to look.

Yes. It’s not an easy thing to do, and it’s not for everyone. But if it calls you one day, go for it. There are many important things in life but there is nothing more significant than that question: what am I?

every time I open X they shove the most stupid US culture war into my face. feels like that has become the main purpose of the app. every post in "for you" is some form of degenerate left vs. right propaganda and the comments are both sides dunking on each other in the meanest possible way. erosion of civilization.

this is not how the world works but an ever growing number of people experience reality exclusively through social media. when you feel upset consuming media, question the source of your anger. any information you absorb on X is filtered for maximum engagement. any emotional response you have is pre-programmed. you're not making your own decisions. you're a bot.

the Internet is designed to trigger you. In this game of humans vs machines, you lose if you get triggered.
