> why the blind faith?
St. Paul answered that 2k years ago. 😅

For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, And the cleverness of the clever I will set aside.” (1 Cor 1:18-19, NASB)
I like to annoy people by telling them every nixpkgs commit represents a unique #NixOS #Linux distro. 😀

Why didn't I think of that? Install from one installer to another USB drive.
Ive never done that but seems like it should be possible
These days I'm "fixing" old machines by installing Linux and my favorite method has been to spin up a VM, set everything up, and then clone its drive to a removable SSD drive. The latter is perfectly bootable and can be cloned to an old laptop drive as well.
#Clonezilla is pure magic.
Testing Primal Android app... Is this thing on?
I think it's a form of sacrifice. Better he, as a single man, be accursed than the entire nation of Israel.

We used to do these kinds of silly posts on forums and mailing lists in the 90s. #nostr is winning teenage hearts and minds 🎉♥️
Last time I checked NewPipe was unusable on AndroidTV. I use it on my phone though even if it doesn't have SponsorBlock.
Invidious shines on my TV.
Selfhosting #Invidious and using the #Clipious frontend app to get rid of YouTube ads is a killer setup for #android phones and TVs. And it has SponsorBlock too!
Running Proxmox with a bunch of #NixOS guests on a HP Elitedesk at home too. Works great!
Thanks. It will likely be easiest to do with Samba. Going for it 🚀
Hey, selfhosters, are you running any web based file browsers on your servers? I mostly need to quickly move or delete a dir containing some music or photos from my phone (while sitting... you know where 😅). Looking for recommendations.
