Sad.

Friend of mine had a little but then watched a documentary that "proved" it was basically a ponzi. Sold the little he had and now doesn't want to touch it.

I just said "hm, okay", because if he is not willing to do any further research beyond some obscure doc, nothing I say will really change his mind.

The logic seems sound.....

Nice! If you have not read Luke, I recommend that too, since he is also the author of Acts and the latter picks up right where the former leaves off.

From a festive point of view, I enjoy seeing them immediately after Thanksgiving (if in USA), only because Thanksgiving tends to be overshadowed.

If we are speaking liturgically, then when Advent starts. Even then it would be more appropriate to decorate for Advent first and then Christmas when Christmas starts (but this only makes sense if people celebrate Christmastide, meaning all 12 days of Christmas, which, sadly, almost nobody does anymore.)

Hoping that RFK Jr. Being given reign over the USDA and CDC, Trump's pledge to #freeross, and now a potential Ron Paul cabinet position will stir even the most politically apathetic bitcoiners and nostriches to vote for the orange man.

Prevents true ownership of land or house.

A few that occurred for me:

1. Started caring a lot more about politics

2. Began thinking a lot more about legacy

3. Grew into more reformed Christian theology.

4. Stopped watching TV almost entirely (though had not been a big TV watcher before).
