I run my own Alby Hub and can top it up with BTC and use Alby Go or other wallet to send sats and zap on Nostr. What does using Cashu give me beyond that (I looked at the link you posted but still not sure)?

I read it tracks what you spend and gives a report, but it must be up to the user to calculate gains based on basis, which, if you bought BTC elsewhere Strike wouldn’t know.

I’ve read the Illuminatus Trilogy, and don’t doubt many of the ways the world is controlled (it was others elsewhere that mentioned the Torah in the same vein). You say you judge people as individuals and I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt. It’s the ‘documentary’ (anyone can weave a story), the graphics, the accusations all presented in a way to promote suspicion and fear and hate that many people would apply to all Jews and I don’t see anything productive from it. If you have problems with AIPAC, or Israel, fine, do what you can to make change, but that is not all Jews. There are many non-Jews as powerful and richer than the Rothschilds, around the world, as you said, in all demographics doing bad shit, and I’ll leave it at that.

The Talmud and Torah specifically speak against child sacrifice (which other cultures apparently practiced at the time). I’m gonna check it out, but any docs referenced references can be non-legit.

But you need to look at the history and why. With the rise of Christianity, lending money was considered sinful (one of many things I find absurd about religion generally, but that’s another topic) while for Jews it was not. In many European countries Jews were forced to lend money to nobles as Christians couldn’t. Jews also placed high value on education, so they were smart and good with money. They did well in this scenarios but the silly nobles couldn’t manage their money, kept borrowing, and finally decided they didn’t want to pay the Jews back. Persecuted, killed and kicked them out of the country. On to the next, start over, rinse and repeat. This is of course one part of Jews, in Europe. Jews being kicked out of Muslim countries and others for different reasons. But Jews are not a monolith. There are rich and poor, light and dark, good and evil, and many other types of Jews, like many other groups. And yes there are some rich Jews, along with rich Christian’s, rich Arabs, rich Hindus, rich communists, rich etc etc who control the world.

How much empathy one can and should have I think is a personal thing. If it is so much that it’s unhealthy then that is a shortcoming of the individual doing the empathizing, and they should look at themselves for the reasons for it and grow from that introspection so they can empathize in a healthy manner.

I agree the more we broaden the spectrum the better. Let the ones who will cry and can’t handle go away but there are plenty in the left who would engage and debate. I don’t know about Bluesky but there are many on the left on Instagram and Twitter who slam the crap out of Dems and Libs, for very similar reasons the right does.
