It's very early days for eCash on top of bitcoin, but it is showing a lot of promise. The beauty of bitcoin is that it is opt-in. If you don't want to use eCash you don't have to. I think it is misguided to write eCash off while it's still in the cradle.

I told a friend of mine about Primal today. When I explained it as a decentralized social media platform, she rolled her eyes as if she was…. upset.. by the idea of free speech on the internet. I know she’s not alone in her views but preferring censorship is so fucking wild to me??? It’s sad to see the ignorance regarding the truth of what censorship really means (power + control) vs what the media portrays it as to the avg American (making sure the big bad bullies cant be mean to u) - it’s the cycle reinforcing itself from the inside out really. Makes me wonder how long the time horizon is on completely unlearning all the subconscious connections made thru the bullshit we’ve been taught to consume without questioning. Likely a multi-generational effort without a lot of fucking work (and soon). Always hopeful but damn conversations like that make me feel 😞
