MAKE A PERSON BELIEVE THEY ARE FREE AND ARE MAKING THEIR OWN DECISIONS AND YOU CAN MAKE THEM DO WHATEVER YOU WANT.
Comfort is the place where most people like to reside and to be fair for a long time I was in that place.
Grateful for the last few years to wake me up and to realize that you must actively work and improve yourself to have any real freedom.
ITS ALL A FACADE.
Freedom brings comfort, and the comfort zone is the least productive.
Sometimes lack of freedom, scarcity, and pressured environments bring quality results and effectivity.
Our chemistry admires freedom fighters, not their descendants and politicians.
I think this largely depends on mindset. Some thrive being free and create their own pressure and have natural drive, others need the push of social convention, boss/mentor and shame of failure.
Agree, We are humans and we have different lives and mindsets.
But everyone should aim to get better somehow.

āFreedomā is such an important and difficult word. It is ever only relative, contextual. So we - individual, community, state, nation - have āfreedomā within what āfreedomā we appreciate, which is different from anotherās appreciated āfreedomā.
So obv itās easy to slowly ācorralā freedom, as we do with actual animal corrals, and the ābreakingā of animals, et al. Which is a āpendulum of historyā that swings ever again.
But I guess my point is: we all want Freedom to be as fully expressed as āweā are (again, scale). But sometimes that freedom is small for us, but perceived invasive for others. (i.e. the freedom to out-source cheap labor to make pink flamingos, the freedom to not expose the kids at my school to drag queens who want to explain themselves, the freedom to demand a closer parking space thatās paid for by my work, etc)
So negotiation is always needed. And must needfully be enforced. Which sets the whole hamster-wheel of State going again.
I KNOW Bitcoin can separate Money from State, and rejuvenate real Human Enterprise across the globe again.
I DONāT BELIEVE it will stop or prevent the cycle of mixed incentives that essentially boil-down to Class Antagonism.
