Yes it works but It is a very simple implementation and isnt actually a backup... It just creates a token from your current ecash state and related mints.
If you create the backup token and in between continue send token and change the state of the wallet, the Backup token will include invalid proofs (partially already spent tokens)
Hope this makes it a bit understandable without going into much Detail.
An appropriate seed phrase Backup will be implemented asap.
Friendly reminder: #eNuts currently does not support seed phrase backups. Therefore, please use only funds you can afford to lose. Keep in mind that this software is in its beta stage, and unexpected bugs will arise! We greatly appreciate your role as early testers and we will continue improving the software. Thank you all! π§‘β‘οΈπ°
This is the mint, maybe itβs down? Is there a way to check if itβs down? I want to press check proofs but it seems like it may delete my nuts unintentionally and then when the mint is up later I wonβt have them.

It will not be able to check proofs if the mint is down and also will not delete anything unintentionally. The mint is up, I just used it.

mint.enuts.beta is just a custom name for it which you can change anytime by opening the mint options.
recently tested out #enuts, a #cashu (ecash for bitcoin) wallet. it's still in early beta but so far the experience has been awesome. so simple to use. good stuff π€π

Let's try to solve this. Check your dms π§
Historic vibes at what is likely the first ever Chaumian ecash hackday. Kicked off with an overview of #fedimint and #cashu. Feels like an ecash renaissance is brewing. Now we cook.

Are nostr:npub1dx5q2el8nd4eh3eg9t2e25fd7zuqg7zxz6ldkc3uzgh66ss2yc6st288sj and #minibits totally separate projects/teams?
Yes, but we are in the same cashu R&D group.

Offline payments can be implemented. Nevertheless, at some point in time, the recipient must connect to the mint to validate and further utilize the Ecash.

Went to send ecash and it gave me a network error. So the ecash isnβt stored client side and requires a network call to generate? Why? Ecash should be transferable offline, doesnβt this network call break that use case?
A network call to the mint is required to verify that the proofs you have stored locally are valid and to prevent double spending.
