I thought what I'd do was, I'd pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes. That way I wouldn't have to have any goddamn stupid useless conversations with anybody.

Fun Fact: in the Alpha Protocol character editor, I accidentally made Tim Pool.

"Hey everybody, slitting an Arab's throat and letting him bleed out in the sand is the most exhilarating experienced I'VE ever had, but let me know what you think in the comments down below"

In 90 minutes (or so), we delve into Obsidian's almost-unknown tactical/stealth/espionage RPG. A game that is no longer commercially available, and lurks in the shadows of the Net.

Lightning integration included!

"Let's Try: Alpha Protocol, the Espionage RPG" is tonight, at 8:30pm JST, only on PeerTube:

Tonight's pre-stream home-cooked meal is as Murrican as Alpha Protocol promises to be... bacon cheeseburgers and apple pie with a tall glass of cola, and a little something extra.

The "No One Cares" Show, Ep.75: Monero-chan in the Multisig of Madness

https://peertube.anon-kenkai.com/w/pkoPZzr8x5n4CiFD9iP4VP

In which we briefly cover the theft of over 2500 XMR from Monero Community Crowdfunding System cold wallet, before discussing how it brings new urgency to the development of multisig in Monero and how this benefits the community as a whole.

I'm writing for the next episode of No One Cares now, and while my original plan was to talk about Monero Multisig and the CCS fund theft next to one or two other topics, it turns out there's so much meat on the CCS story that I think it can make a standalone video all on its own...

In 90 minutes, we head back into the Zone to belly crawl through the Red Forest and try not to get murdered by Monolith while we investigate "Sin", a worrying new faction in our midst.

"Let's Play: S.T.A.L.K.E.R Anomaly, Part 16" is tonight, at 8:30pm JST, only on PeerTube

PeerTube Lightning plugin is also making its inaugural debut tonight. Hopefully it works.

Tonight, Streaming Saturday is STALKER again.

And tonight's themed meal is "irradiated" (seasoned) "boar" (pork) chops, with bread, seasoned carrots, Zone energy drink, and a (vodka based) chuhai.

It was No KYC in the most technical sense, though the third party site not liking VPNs is a big ding against that.

Of course, using a prepaid Visa for almost anything requires inputting some kind of PII (unless you lie, of course, but that would be bad mmkay)

Finally got a chance to try spendit.finance for myself, and while I can confirm that it works, there are several caveats.

The UI/UX is pretty shit. Up to paying the XMR for the prepaid card it's okay...they even were willing to send confirmation mails to a disposable GuerillaMail address without hassle...but from there you get redirected to a third party site to punch in a verification code, and that page gets real fussy about scriptblockers and VPNs. CoinDebit did this shit 100x better by keeping card info/access entirely on-site.

Bottom line, it does work...the card paid for some shit, but it was a clunky experience and I have a hard time recommending it unless you're in desperate need of a one-off credit card to pay for something online.

This weekend, it's back to the Zone to confront a new faction... a perhaps a new threat? The Monolith was bad enough, but now "Sin" is lurking in the Red Forest. And we're going to find out what they're up to.

Streaming Saturday: "Let's Play: S.T.A.L.K.E.R Anomaly, Part 16" is this November 18th, at 8:30pm JST, only on PeerTube:

This also marks the first Streaming Saturday since installing PeerTube's Lightning plugin. Sadly its very Alby-centric, but Zaps and Alby wallet login are now possible!

It would appear Sourcehut has finally caught up with Shadowchat, and the original source repo is now gone. I'm not sure why its 401 unauthorized instead of 404 not found, but I have no idea how they do things.

Forks exist on Lukesmith's forked repo, my own clone on github, and my JP localized version on Gitgud:

https://github.com/LukeSmithxyz/shadowchat

https://github.com/ChanoSan/shadowchat

https://gitgud.io/japananon/shadowchatjp

Links and references on www.shadowchat.app will be updated at the soonest opportunity.

Good...Zeus was giving me some kind of weird timeout error, would hang for almost a minute before apparently giving up, but then I look in transactions and the sats went out anyway so I wasn't sure what to think.

At least Amethyst automatically patches transfers through to Zeus instead of Nostros' buggy integration that kept failing. Not sure how I'd connect a wallet in Amethyst if this was my first client, though

Testing out Amethyst now. Nostros doesn't like me.

nostr:npub1ftj3tmr44tdzs93e0hdgfnrrct9pu2e8haylzuatm2tkfwdaudds27pjju can you confirm if a couple of zaps I sent yesterday webt through?

Okay, I have my Zaps set up. You're all now allowed to give me free money.
