So, I've decided to give Nostr a second shot via Ditto after all. This time I'm using Wallet Of Satoshi... I know, non-custodial, but fuck it, I don't have the patience for this shit anymore. I'm already running two Mitra servers, a PeerTube server, and a Monero node, I have neither the time, the patience, nor the resources to add a Lightning node on top of all that. To say nothing of all the channel maintenance shit.
So the XMR goes to a swap which goes to the on-chain BTC wallet which turns into sats on Lightning which pays for Cashu. God save me, I hope it doesn't all go tits up this time...
...so, you use Bitcoin on-chain to get LN liquidity, then use LN to get Cashu? Is that how it works?

Another layer of difficulty now, I have a bunch of sats on an embedded node Zeus phone wallet... I /could/ use those to pay for a new AlbyHub channel, but every time I try to pay it times out.
Based on network data, this might be because of a large number of zombie channels (48000+). But none of the steps in Zeus docs gets rid of them. Express Graph Sync is enabled, restarted multiple times, no dice.
I should have just stayed with Alby custodial ffs -_-;
It's a little disheartening that after I take the plunge to try AlbyHub, spending 15k sats tp open a channel and move funds over to my self custody wallet, the channel force closes after 13 minutes and the funds are now locked for 2 weeks.... is this the future, guys?
