Incidentally, the game volume was a little off balance, and almost drowned out the mic at points... for which I am sorry, I'll need to adjust the audio settings better next time.
zap-dot-stream was an interesting experiment, but I think I'll be dropping it for now. I'm debating whether to multi-cast the stream in future or not... doing so doesn't seem to incur any performance cost, but it hardly seems worth the effort unless one is a Real Big Boy Streamer with a triple-digit audience. PeerTube-only seems more my speed right now.
Regarding future streams, both OpenMW and "Let Bions Be Bygones" are confirmed to work, so they're going into rotation. The schedule for the remainder of August will be as follows:

GOOD NEWS, EVERYONE. I went ahead and updated the OS version on my gay-ming machine, and now I can run OBS 30, so I can run SoraYuki's multi-rtmp plugin, so zap stream multicasting is absolutely possible. However...
BAD NEWS, EVERYONE. For some reason, OBS' bitrate now shits itself into oblivion if I try to stream over my VPN, even though it ran perfectly fine before. So if I can't fix it, then I'll have to stream raw and unprotected, leaving me vulnerable to the NSA, CIA, the Jews, and the reptilians.
Fuck it. Just did an in-place distro upgrade to jammy. OBS 30 is available, so the multi-rtmp plugin should work now.
God save me if I broke anything beyond my ability to fix it.
I'm going to do.a zap.stream test run in the very near future, try the stream forwarding feature to PeerTube, maybe also JewTube at the same time, see if it works.
I don't like the crux of the whole thing being a non-self-hosted service, but at the same time I realize I can just submit a feature request to PeerTube & see if they can't incorporate the same feature... ffmpeg is a dependency already, that might be doable. Hell, even if only as an optional plugin.
Vanilla everything. For gay-ming, I want shit to work with minimum difficulty.
