A lyrical nomad in Bitcoin space.

Thank you! I do hope they actually read it!

Another open letter to Ulrich Bindseil and Jürgen Schaaf of the ECB! Had to bring out some Gigi for them!

I agree with this.

So, if someone is fine with the machine running “as is” I’d say it’s fine to vote for either candidate. Or not vote at all.

I’d say the only vote that matters now is the protest vote. Writing-in a different type of person whose values genuinely align with yours.

That way, in one tiny little way, when the votes are tabulated, some tired-eyed vote counter has the thought: “huh, that’s a bit different.” A tiny ripple of life and original thought in a mostly dead ocean.

But, contrapuntally, if your thought is “I choose not to vote because I want rules without rulers,” well, shit, I can’t fault you at all for that either.

Oh I see. Thank you. I’m always into tinkering so this could be something I might mess around with when fishing season ends. Lol.

Yes

Whoa. So does one buy a subscription or a license or something, or does the device just “work”?

Satoshi stole fire from false gods and gave it to man.

Traveling by radio waves? Sorry, I’m a dumbass with this kinda stuff.

This is a fantastic discussion. nostr:npub164q45vfa8prpl7f63stsl9qm9n22v6julkasjdqxjc8kevchsj0sp42rl3 ‘s hosting of nostr:npub1hk0tv47ztd8kekngsuwwycje68umccjzqjr7xgjfqkm8ffcs53dqvv20pf and nostr:npub1rtlqca8r6auyaw5n5h3l5422dm4sry5dzfee4696fqe8s6qgudks7djtfs provides an accessible way for the left aligned people in your life to hear some of the bitcoin things you may have been harping on for a while now.

Especially important are the points around state propaganda and which system can claim the “moral high ground”

I’ve sent this to a handful of people that are otherwise unreceptive to my prior attempts at Bitcoin evangelism. It’s absolutely cracked open the door for a few of them. Also made them curious about nostr.

The thing we have going for us is that everyone likes the idea of (at least personally) being free. The challenge is showing someone how bitcoin and nostr are tools for them and not their enemies.

Anyways this podcast is one of the top resources I’ll be using for helping people see the need + solution.

This was an absolutely amazing and truly inspirational conversation among you three. It’s probably because I was reading him for a little while before listening to this discussion, but the whole time you guys were talking, I kept thinking to myself that what you were saying about Bitcoin and what we can do with it was an embodiment of what Mahatma Gandhi meant when he said:

“Those who preferred security to freedom had no right to live.”

And additionally:

“I do believe that where there is only a choice between cowardice and violence I would advise violence.”

Thanks! Having fun with some new pens!

Reality in layers.

I’s everywhere.

It seems to me that higher forms of will, just like satoshis, will never be free.

They both take work to produce.

What’s the reason for the second thing? Is that because he’d have to pay to deal with someone else contesting it?

Promethean Satoshi stole the fire from the would-be gods of central banks, and built the Tyger, the anvil, and the forge for us all. The symmetry of #Bitcoin is terrifying to them. 😏

So for this next Difficult(y) Poem, we have William Blake’s “The Tyger.”

Seems YouTube videos can’t easily be clicked from NOSTR so just replace the “(dot)” in the url above with a “.” in your browser.
