There are so many things wrong with western culture, that it’s not even worth discussing anything in specific.

The best thing you can do is to realize it’s all broken/evil/pathetic/weak/diseased/parasitic/corrupt and to build a new model of life for yourself.

Drawing on established principles from the past and combining them with modern technology and understanding.

When a system is sick and diseased you must step outside of it in order to building something healthy.

By doing so, we can create lives that are resilient, meaningful, and free from the corruption of the old order.

This is less about escape and more about foundation building and embodying a way of living that others can see, feel, and perhaps be inspired to join.

I love it here because even though I run a few Bitaxe miners, cold storage is 7 year old news, and I've got more books on just sound money/economics than most people have books period, when I come here, I see many people MUCH smarter than me, discussing technical things that seem other-worldly to me, just willy-nilly all over the place.
