It is worth it, itās our verification process to prevent bots from gaining traction like twitter. If they have a nip-05 there were sats spent to acquire it and so it means we trust you are more real.
That being said, there are many services that sell this verification so if it seems like more than you want to spend, you can probably find a cheaper one.
