They are definitely fun to play with. Not a full solution to security (nothing is) but they are great as a backup auth in case you lose your phone.
Yeah Ill buy multiple devices to play with. I just wanted to share that this was an option since lots of people still don't use these. Very reasonably priced.

You and self hosted nostr can have a circle jerk on your own relay at home.
Needs to be very secure. Otherwise box could be slipped out and opened later.
