Betting a bunch of money on trumps side and driving up the odds to make the public think he’s a lock. If he ends up losing the public is more convinced the election was fraudulent and it causes a stir. Although I think if someone smart saw trumps odds go way higher than his real chances they’d just smash buy the other side, send the odds back towards reality, and possibly make money in the process

My job at the time offered 1k to every employee who got vaccinated and threatened mandatory weekly testing for every unvaccinated employee. Took about two months for the employer to realize they didn’t want to keep paying to test unvaccinated employees every week and the whole thing quietly went away

Keep seeing some bitcoiners clowning others for voting in this election and completely missing the point
1. Yes monetary debasement will happen under both candidates. We’re not saying otherwise.
2. This is the first election where bitcoin was a topic of discussion. Trump spoke of it positively (even if he doesn’t understand it himself) and the other spent the last 4 years as part of a team that actively attacked the industry around bitcoin.
3. Other common bitcoiner concerns like 2A are clearly in better hands under Trump.
No one is pretending Trump is a world saver or even a great option but when the other option is clearly worse for bitcoin (and other issues) it makes sense to vote
