There are approximately 23,000 cryptocurrencies available. It’s akin to having a fiat printing machine at home where everyone can produce their own currency~
Glad I found out about #nostr . I need to create something..it’s the IT in me. I’ve been in the corporate world too long my coding skill is a bit rusty
What did I see in the universe tab???Is that the power of decentralisation? 🔞💆🏼♂️
#twitter is for sparrows, #nostr is for ostriches (wild & free)! 🕶
I like the theory of Bitcoin. But it favours early adopters heavily. As for the rest of us normies, we can’t even afford 1 btc! 😂
I like the colour theme of this apps.
I just set up the alby wallet in Damus. Very easy. But is it working now? I’m not so sure 🙃
It is more relax on #nostr compared to the other centralised platform.
Yes, I used to think Elon saved free speech until the blue check thingyy
I’ve too many books to read.
Chicken katsu curry 🍛 ❤️
People on Twitter are doing everything they can for impressions. From memes to long threads. I guess everyone has a price💰
Some weeks ago I was reading Thoreau's "On the Duty of Civil Disobedience" aloud at bed-time to my son, who of course does not understand it but appreciates the sound of the words all the same, when I discovered that its famous title was in fact not the original! The original title was significantly more radical: "Resistance to Civil Government."
It's quite short, and I would encourage everyone here to read (or re-read) it. It is still tremendously relevant. Re-reading it with the original (un-sanitized) title in mind, it lands even harder.
These days, Thoreau would probably get his door kicked in.

No pay, no ads. No threatening algorithms🤘🏻
Bitcoin finite nature means it’s not really suitable to be a currency, but rather as a store of value, like gold.
The world seems empty here..
Decentralisation is awesome, and so does being anonymous. I can’t understand the idea of paying money to be verified (especially if you’re nobody) 🫢
