Signature and encryption are separated. You still sign all your events. But use a group cipher key, which is different from group identity key, to encrypt. But rotating this cipher key, you can kick out people. Not implemented yet.
We probably have to start with Android because iOS is so controlled anyway.
After 8 months of working on Blowater, I realized 2 things:
1. My programming skills were shit.
2. I could be at least 10X more skillful in this craft and I have never been this confident in my craft.
NIP24 looks very tempting. I want to release the group chat and get the UX right first. Then I can refactor the implementation. Therefore, Group Chat will go through at least 3 months of unstable time.
Mobile is the plan for the whole November.
Notification on Desktop has been working for a while but currently taken down for some minor improvements.
Notificaiton on Mobile, not clear to me yet. Need to investigate more.
I haven't read nip24 yet.
