This is just my reflection on me not willing to learn CSS for years and I am learning them now. Generalizing to life is of course exaggerated

Unpopular Opinion:

I still believe that a request/response model for relays/servers are benefitial for nostr. It can drastically simplify many aspects of client development. Not all data are streams. Therefore, I am implement a request/response nostr event server in Rust. The current network solution is just HTTP GET/POST of events.

I hope at least blowater can use it earlier next year so that many aspects of this client can be simplied.

The rigorousness of Rust is frustrating. But, with GPT4, it's so pleasant and I feel so productive.

I never learned CSS properly. Now I learned it with GPT4. Generating weird pictures might be one way of using AI, boosting your knowledge is another way. AI is not our enemy. It only amplifies our strengths and weaknesses.

Many social media platforms let/require creators to buy traffic directly or indirectly. The roughy cost is around 1 USD per 50-500 views depending on where you live. Regardless, this is getting more unaffordable for new creators. Nostr model can be super friendly for small creators. I am not super active on Blowater this month because I am rethinking and designing lots of things.

We should spar next time we meet. We need a Nostr BJJ tournament.

I found both Pin and Pin Escape easier and Guard much harder. Passing in the middle.

BJJ and Indie Dev are my main life theme now. I borrowed lots of learning from one to another.

Guard Retention and Pin Retention are equally important. Is it normal for a white belt to feel more comfortable in Pin Retention than Guard Retention? Is guard intrinsically harder than pin? Or it depends on the person? #bjj
