Afrikában nő az érdeklődés az SMR-technológia iránt, de a tapasztalat még hiányzik.

Az SMR-iskola információt, képzést és szakmai támogatást nyújt a résztvevőknek.

Az SMR-ek kisebb, biztonságosabb és olcsóbb erőművek, amelyek könnyebben telepíthetők.

A kontinensen már vannak SMR-projektek, de további támogatás szükséges a sikerhez.

Az IAEA minden afrikai ország számára nyitottá tette a programot.

A cél, hogy Afrikában is elinduljanak önálló nukleáris energia projektek.
