I've got a good friend, he's the precoiner of this comic šŸ’Æ He literally thanked me for introducing him to Bitcoin because he found new hope this way.

Also: most people are okay with swapping the risk of "losing their money in bank accounts" with another third party risk: saving in ETFs

Weil, that part of "waking up" will probably take another 14 years šŸ˜‰

German society is slowly waking up:

only 50% of Germans still believe that their savings are safe in bank accounts.

"80% only if you bought at the top!" is my first reaction in that case. Followed up with a comparison to other DCA saving contacts...

After two years rising inflation rates all over the world it seems impossible to me that anyone could still ask the question "why do we need bitcoin at all?".

But yeah, that's where it has to start. I guess it is at least easier to answer that question now than it was two years ago.

In Amethyst heißt die Funktion "request deletion".

So you believe that scientists stating that the current increase of CO2 in the atmosphere is too fast to be natural simply forgot zooming out once?

I think Bitcoiner's tend to favour arguments against the mainstream. Whether these arguments are about financial stuff or climate doesn't really matter. We like "being smarter than the rest". I gotta admit, I 'm no different šŸ˜‚

When it comes to climate and if the weather is changing because of men made climate change my take is:

I don't know for sure, I can see valid arguments on both sides.

But IMO every single step towards more decentralisation in energy grids is good. So build as much renewables in your neighborhood as you can.

This will most likely help to reduce dependency on fossil fuels, which were one the greatest drivers of several wars in the last centuries.

It's simple, isn't it?

Die ersten 20 Minuten waren schon super!

Nehmt meinen ⚔

Okay, might do it later, looks like signing in on desktop will be easier...
