SeedSigner is on my to do list. Thanks for the insight šŸ’Æ

When choosing a hardware wallet (signing device) for your cold storage, it’s really important to find one from a manufacturer that has proven to be trustworthy, and the same goes for the software and the marketing team. You don’t want a setup that collects analytics on your activity, or one that stores your personal information on an insecure database that creates a very attractive honeypot.

The first one I ever used was called a KeepKey, launched in early 2015 by a company led by CEO Darin Stanchfield and CTO (this is his actual name, I shit you not) Ken Hodler. It was a slick-looking device about the size of an Apple TV remote that connected to your computer using a browser extension to view balances and broadcast transactions.

On Christmas Day in 2016, Darin was sim-swapped and hackers compromised his email account, as well as the company’s social media account, as well as its marketing database, exposing customer data.

In 2017, KeepKey was acquired by ShapeShift, an exchange run by Erik Voorhees, an early pioneer in bitcoin who has since pivoted to shitcoins. Within a short time, they began pushing new updates to KeepKey to turn it into a full ā€œcryptoā€ wallet, and replaced the original browser extension with a new website (that also doubled as an exchange) to manage the device.

By that point, I absolutely knew it was time to move on, and I opted for a new bitcoin-only device. Much to my surprise, when I first attempted to migrate from KeepKey to the new setup, I got an error saying that the transaction could not be broadcasted. I tried in a different browser, and on a different computer, with no luck. Before going into a panic, I sent an email to ShapeShift support. I got the following autoresponse from them:

ā€œI’d like to apologize for the delay in response. As a crypto enthusiast, you must have noticed what a crazy time it has been in our industry! We’ve seen an all-time high in demand, and with it, needs for extra support.ā€ 🤮

A few days later, a reply came, saying that there were ā€œknown issuesā€ with the platform that affected certain legacy wallets (i.e., pre-acquisition) and that I should use the device directly with Electrum. I did some research, and after a few more days, was finally successful in getting off of this platform. It was a hair-raising moment that made me realize that even self custody has the potential to get rugged, even if you thought you were making the most informed decisions you could at the time.

Be careful out there!

So given everything you said what device would you get today?

It’s so obvious what’s going on now.

They are treating the masses like farm animals.

They pushing us to live in cities to find work.

They are forcing us to eat processed garbage that’s unnatural to our bodies nutritional needs

They sometimes try to force medications and vaccine on the masses.

They also control the information very controlling the communications on televisions and social media apps.

They force the masses to go to their education camps for first 18 years of their life.

Then they have elections every 4 years to make you believe you have choice over your future but it’s really just an illusion.

You are trapped in the system they have created.

Now they coming after your beef, your flight plans and your oil fuelled cars saying it’s causing global warming.

Global warming is not even real. It’s just a scam they use to create further divide and make you believe there is no hope for the future. It’s all about controlling you psychology.

Now they saying boys and girls can change gender. Just to create further confusion.

Now they saying AI is going take your job so universal basic income aka social credit system with carbon credits is needed to solve this.

The only fix I can see is for individuals to take back their sovereignty. Sovereignty over their money, their health, their education, their beliefs, their food, their data, while also attacking the system to bring it down faster.

It’s run by greedy megalomaniac sociopaths who care about nothing but themselves who seek to have absolute control over others.

In the hunter gather days, these people would be outcasted out the tribe and left to fend for themselves. It doesn’t make sense that they are running our societies and making policy decisions on our behalf.

Sorry late night thoughts. Rant over. šŸ˜‚

100% on point although we’ve been treated this way for decades and I’m starting to think AI is a scare tactic bc AI is actually scary to the powers that be.

WE NEED A TOUCHSCREEN DEVICE WITH WIFI CAPABILITY THAT SUPPORTS BTC / āš”ļøWALLETS AND NOSTR CLIENTS

APP STORE WALLET DAYS ARE NUMBERED

Grocery stores should be judged based on the health of their customers

This is what I sent HEB:

Good afternoon, I am a X generation Texan and have been shopping at HEB since I can remember. As you guys know obesity, cancer, and autoimmune diseases are a huge problem in this country and it’s very apparent when you go into one of your stores. I’m a bit confused why your HEB products contain the same if not worse ingredients than the products offered by huge corporations. It seems as though you guys have a wonderful opportunity to source high quality products locally and within the U.S. to offer your customers high quality alternatives to the Doritos, Cheetos, and other massive conglomerates of this world. Your bakery is a great example. Bread consists of water, salt, and flour yet when I look at the back of your bread / tortillas made in the store it contains ingredients that belong in a science lab. I also noticed your cubed cheese contains a ā€œbioengineered food.ā€

Grocery stores should be proud in their customers health and well being and began focusing on local communities.

If you wish to maximize profits at the expense of your customers then your short term may look good but long term you’ll continue to have sicker and sicker customers. Maybe HEB doesn’t care like every other huge company replacing good ingredients with cheap, seed oils and bioengineered foods.

Time will tell. Good luck.

Who do I call about forming a new business structure in the new parallel economy? Do I submit legal docs to the blockchain?
