Yesss! See that's the problem...if you're going to take "donations only" you gotta be prepared for people not to pay at all or pay less than you want them to. If you're mad people are taking for free or less than you deserve...stop putting it out there.

Digital, unless i'm at a booth or something. There was a booth set up like that at the unconfiscatable conference a couple years ago, and it was really cool. I picked up a paperback book, scanned an address and sent an amount I thought was worth it.
So I'm an author. One of these days I want to try out putting up one of my books for sale using the Value4Value method, meaning it's out there for free, and people pay what they want.
The thing is, if you put up your work for V4V, you have to accept what people value your work at, not how much time/money it cost you to make it. You can't expect them to pay the standard price of of an eBook on Amazon just because it's "the standard."
If you want to decide how much your work is worth given the standard prices, stay in the standard market.
If you want to do V4V...accept what people value your work at.
