I'm just a average Joe with an over active imagination and too much interest in Austrian Economics, Bitcoin, and history

The wise man doesn't blindly chase wealth and fame. He quietly and consistently stacks Sats.

Clearly they're following me after taco night

I would bet they will push for a Gold Exchange Standard. Not true hard money, which will lead to the same place as before: Over printing, then refusing to honor their gold commitments "temporarily", putting everyone back on the same fiat rollercoaster.

The lesson that needs to be pushed with Bitcoin is that people can not trust those with that much power I've money supply to be faithful actors. Bitcoin fixes gold's salability across space problem, and all the associated evils that come with it.

When someone brings up gold. I always laugh and tell them: Sure you just have to trust big banks and government, I'm sure they've learned their lesson this time.

I can't speak to the potential for war in Europe other than there is a lot more history of intracontinental fighting there than the US.

I do hope for a peaceful falling apart of Germany's newest control scheme (EU). And if it does fall that the general population will learn the lesson of too much central control

I have a feeling that civil war, at least in America,is unlikely.

The Fed gov't has long since spent its goodwill, IMO and any calls for keeping the union is going to be largely meet with a "meh" or "why?".

This is a good thing and needs to be fostered.

If El Salvador is left alone and can be allowed to adopt and grow Bitcoin for it's citizens it will become an interesting proof of concept for the Austrian view of Time Preference.

Can a hard money with retaining value lower Time Preference and will that aggregate lowered time preference truly have a "civilizing" affect. Such as lower overall crime, higher savings and capital for investments.

Currently El Salvador is number 1 in violent crime rate. I hope, for the average person there, that this does cause a lowering of crime rate.
