I’m going to have fat leeks this winter.

All this time the dirty shit I had in my head.

It does. 🤔

What ya gonna do about bitchs. 😁

I stopped harvesting my artichokes because I like the beauty of the flowers more than taste of the artichokes. Although the hearts are pretty damn good.

Simple breakfast of eggs cooked in marinara sauce with parm and chili pepper.

Yup

I think James Burnham’s book the managerial revolution is on to something with regards to this phenomenon.

"Vagabonding: An Uncommon Guide to the Art of Long-Term World Travel" by Rolf Potts is a thought-provoking and inspiring book that will resonate with anyone who has ever felt the call of adventure and the open road.

Potts' writing is engaging, witty, and insightful, making this book a pleasure to read. He shares his own experiences and insights gained from years of traveling, and draws on a wide range of sources, from philosophy to literature, to create a comprehensive guide to the art of vagabonding.

The book is divided into four sections, each exploring a different aspect of long-term travel: planning, preparation, and the practicalities of life on the road. Potts' advice is both practical and philosophical, encouraging readers to think deeply about their motivations, goals, and the kind of journey they want to undertake.

Throughout the book, Potts emphasizes the importance of embracing uncertainty, living in the moment, and finding meaning in the journey itself, rather than just the destination. He also explores the concept of "vagabonding" as a way of life, one that values freedom, creativity, and personal growth.

Whether you're a seasoned traveler or just starting to dream of hitting the road, "Vagabonding" is a must-read. It's a book that will inspire you to think differently about travel, and about life itself.

I was vagabond from 18 to 21. Not sure what the author has to say. But damn the memories and the experiences.

Can’t get past all the spitting and nasally incomprehension.
