JUST IN: CNBC says "Venezuela may have quietly amassed a Bitcoin reserve worth tens of billions of dollars." ๐ ๐ป๐ช
"If the US seizes those coins and adds them to its own strategic reserve, you're looking at potentially substantial supply of BTC getting locked up for years." ๐ https://blossom.primal.net/771af935155c55473cb488c0c19c9eaed2ee80d7da82b70165ccd58a9ed70831.mp4

Ahh. A perma bull keeps saying this. Newsworthy.
Itโs nice to see this space still alive and thriving. Iโve never been a person who post stuff or engage. But I do lurk.. ๐
20th of December will be my third year here. Crazy how time flies!
Shine on!
We plan to adopt zkEVM networks for problems that require network-wide consensus:
- public names
- server registry
- server infrastructure payments using Community Vouchers represented by SMPX utility tokens on some L2 network TBC
Please read the plan and FAQ here: https://simplex.chat/token/
You can get a free NFT on Ethereum mainnet that will provide access to testnet when launched - planned for 2026.

Holy fuck. Bye.
Maybe they just donโt like you? ๐
I guess he just forgot about the cyber hornets. Just posted this.

Yeah. Somethingโs off, thatโs for sure. Either this rumor that his company is becoming a bitcoin bank is true, which is plausible for sure. Or someone told him that he needs to chill ๐ Either way, it goes against a lot of things he spoke about in the past. Letโs see how it develops.. his words matters to a lot of people, whether we like it or not.
Have a great evening! ๐
Why? What has he done? Name one open source project he has supported? Name one thing he has done except getting bitcoin to a broader audience? People follow him like he is Jesus Christ. He is now trying to change the narrative, even though we all know he understands bitcoin fully. People listen to him, he is not stupid. He talked about bitcoin on a fundamental level in the beginning, we know he understands the value proposition.
Why did he change his attitudes toward self custody, the main selling point in the bitcoin ethos is a mystery.
What good is bitcoin if you are supposed to trust third parties? What benefits does that bring, except enriching the people all ready rich?
The ground foundation of bitcoin is equal rules for everyone. If the narrative changes and people forget the principles, we have no more than a shiny rock in cyberspace, handled by banks and large entities.
So, what did you think when hearing him changing narrative about self custody?
What's your favorite Bitcoin quote?
I'll start:
"There are 11,000 cryptos. I own one. Bitcoin" - nostr:npub15dqlghlewk84wz3pkqqvzl2w2w36f97g89ljds8x6c094nlu02vqjllm5m
He is an enemy of bitcoin. Self custody, peer to peer transfers and immutable is the only reason bitcoin has value. He wants to remove that. Instead of fanboying him, speak out against that shit.
