Now, for the Czech government - women in my country have hard times to do politics because our politicians made it so unfriendly to them, that they cannot actually combine politics and family. All because of having possibility of obstructions in parliament, that basically means that one speaker talks even for more than 10 hours and blocks ruling ability of the government. I consider this wrong, but we never reached agreement between oposition and government to have this fixed. Sadly.
Anyways, back to the US politics I'd definitely could not vote for someone who's acting as a threat even to their allies while constantly lying about pretty much everything.

well it's a good thing you're not a US citizen. We (the US) gave that damn country (Ukraine) every weapon they have to fight with, along with 1/2 of a TRILLION tax payer dollars. You should be more worried about the EU and the loss of free speech happening in Germany, and the UK.. that's what's really scary. The EU hasn't spent NEARLY what the US has spent to defend their country. The US IS essentially NATO, there is no NATO without the US, take a look at the defense spending differences. We are the most free country on Earth. Worry about yourself.

The old dell latitude will be perfect. Ubuntu is fine. It'll already have everything you'll need to run any of these nostr relays. You'll need nginx installed or nginx proxy manager if you prefer a web interface to organize your SSL certificates.
When setting up the proxy, remember to turn on the websockets option in nginx because all connections to nostr relays are done via wss:// connections. Only the simple web page that most have to describe the server are delivered over https.
