I’m curious if there are any thru-hikers or other adventurers that have/are used/ing the micro.blog platform as a sort of trail journal. (As I have the inclination to do myself for my future adventures.)
🚵♂️ First time fat biking in the snow. The climb is was worth the squeeze (and so was the rental). I have done this ride when the road is cleared on several occasions, this was a very different experience. I don’t think I’m ready to N+1 a fat bike to my quiver — yet.
🏍️ First ride of the year! It got a bit squirrelly, I was pushing my skill level (Im very new to this) and gained some confidence.
(Re) #introduction decided to come back around to see how things were working out in nostr land… not disappointed. Things appear to making leaps and bounds.

Zaps are only constrained by monetary ability (and the protocol it’s based on).
Replacing one ‘mindless dopamine trap’ with another one, one with monetary value attached. This whole thing feels more like a repackaged shuffle, of the same thing.
Kind of like adding money to a game, you’re just moving the reward (dis)incentives. Dopamine will just hit differently.
I’m not wholly against #onlyzaps, but I don’t think this particular kind of argument stands.
That’s creepy. How common is taxidermy these days? And how hard would it be to get that thing fixed up?

Usability report on IPad Mini 6:
- action buttons are tiny, and a struggle to hit the first, or even the 10th time trying. Same with the photo X close button.
- searching hashtags works from the first layer, but unable to click through on a different hash on the hash search results, preventing hashtag discovery rabbit holes.
If there is a better place to report this stuff, send me in the right direction.
