If they outperform you on delivering value for value using the idea then that is good for everyone but you, and you can use their inspiration to catch up to them. This is the real world. Copyrights are great for avoiding impersonations, but suck if they’re just being used to stop progress. The best way to keep others from stealing your identity is to be great at what you do, and users will tamp down the impostr due to their loyalty to your brand because of the value being provided by you. Stop providing value, and your brand gets replaced. It’s the circle of life.
