#nostr also comes with "API Access", but it's irrevocable, unlimited and unconditional. Just as it should be.

Android and web apps are both fast, secure and unlikely to be censored. It's iOS which is the problem, as Apple not only censors native apps, but also intentionally cripples its browser to limit web apps.
There's zapddit.com, which I am using right now.
This. The main idea behind #fediverse is identity politics cast in software. One does not select an instance for technical reasons, but to express a certain political association, defined by a blocklist.
Might be so in the large subs, but the smaller, topic-focused subreddits were mostly okay, as well as the local, non-english ones.
