Awaiting Jared Isaacman, new NASA Administrator, at NASA HQ entrance!

Yesterday evening- nostr:npub1key55ax33gkl50uqemvl4khrtqrhzm7wzpc7fhseutt5ddkcwcrqgxlt3h officially opened their new location in Washington DC. The Space Blockchain Club was present. The bar was filled with a notable guest of honor- US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent! Wonderful evening with friends in the industry. Great conversation, food, and music!
The infamous “Buy Bitcoin” legal pad is the center piece behind the bar from the unforgettable meme featuring Janet Yellen during a 2017 testimony to Congress. Above the sign- is a large BlockTron block made by nostr:nprofile1qqs96pk6xhaeu0pww82mq7kd7s7vh0deh464wjxgh9zh2e6stgphxegpz3mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduq3samnwvaz7tmjv4kxz7fwwdhx7un59eek7cmfv9kq849ru0.
The Space Blockchain Club was graciously given the Pubkey BlockTron “Genesis Block” edition (#00 of 50) signed nostr:nprofile1qqs96pk6xhaeu0pww82mq7kd7s7vh0deh464wjxgh9zh2e6stgphxegpz3mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduq3samnwvaz7tmjv4kxz7fwwdhx7un59eek7cmfv9kq849ru0 and owner of the bar!

Meet Dan McMorris. I had the opportunity to sit and interview Dan last week for my second ever interview for my recently-launched “Space Blockchain Club”. I was introduced to Dan by Charlie McGillis. Dan is the Co-founder and current Chief Strategy Officer of The Provenance Chain Network (PCN). He is a graduate of the Eisenhower School. With over 2 decades in supply chain and logistics, Dan claims that the number one pain point in supply chain visibility is found in protecting intellectual property through multiple tiers.
Dan and others at PCN refer to blockchain technology as Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT). PCN strives to point DLT towards enterprise use-cases. Currently, PCN is using encryption and hashing to provide the verifiable credentials of what they call the “5 P’s of commerce”: People, Parties, Products, Processes, and Places.
PCN uses a distributed system of evidence (via encryption and hash function) to:
1. Document compliance
2. Register data privacy by means of “data property ownership”
3. Capture (immutably) the results of evaluations of evidence against oversight requirements
By doing this PCN allows sellers to make accurate claims about their products by publicly disclosing the results of certain evaluations by means of “selective disclosure”. Additionally, since PCN is using multiple blockchains, they refer to “smart contracts” (often times associated to a singular blockchain) as “engines”. These engines all have requirements with incentives for claims and evidence so PCN often uses the term “R.I.C.E. Engines”.
PCN has historically used RICE Engines to improve Quality Assurance at various businesses from processes that took 1 week down to as low as 2 minutes/ Contract reviews that took multiple months down to 5 minutes- all while protecting Intellectual Property (IP).
While not fully cognizant of modern space operations, Dan imagines a world in future where the immutability of blockchain will help spacecraft decide what do with certain payloads. What an exciting time to be alive!

Mission of Dyson Labs
Meet Calvin England- CEO of Dyson Labs
Earlier this week, on July 28, The Space Blockchain Club interviewed Calvin England. Calvin is the CEO & Co-Founder of Dyson Labs. Dyson Labs is a company boldly planning to launch solar powered ASIC Bitcoin Miners into space as a means to monetize the large amount of generated and unused watt hours in satellites.
Calvin England holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University. He has worked for large companies in aerospace such as Virgin Galactic, Blue Origin, and Northrup Grumman. Like many his age, Calvin was inspired to pursue knowledge in Bitcoin and decentralized computing due to early memories of the housing collapse of 2008. He also states that his 2014 deployment to Afghanistan as an infantryman in the USMC allowed him to see first hand "what a difference technology makes".
Exclusive Sneak Peek at "CHAINge North America" next week- July 16th 12:00 EST. CEO of SnipChain, John Monarch, will be one of the Speakers. John is a seasoned entrepreneur and technology leader specializing in supply chain innovation, blockchain integration, and digital transformation. John has consulted for Fortune 500 companies and celebrity-owned brands, bringing deep expertise in ecommerce operations, logistics, and customer service. He is a recognized expert with the United Nations Centre for Trade Facilitation and Electronic Business (UN/CEFACT) and has contributed to the World Economic Forum's Blockchain in Supply Chain initiative. John holds a B.S. in Physics from Clemson University and is a regular contributor to CEOWORLD magazine on topics such as supply chain resilience, digital transformation, and emerging technologies.
First-Ever SpaceX Shares Now Available Through Blockchain
Today (July 2, 2025) NASA HQ Exchange has approved the creation of the "SPACE BLOCKCHAIN CLUB". The club will host monthly club meetings for NASA Employees (both government and contractor) to LEARN, TEACH, and BUILD. We will have guest speakers and interviews. I will do my best to post content on NOSTR regularly. We will also strive to execute an Annual Development Initiative (ADI) developed & fielded by all voting members. The SPACE BLOCKCHAIN CLUB is founded to harness blockchain technology’s potential to revolutionize logistics, transparency, and innovation within the NASA enterprise at large. By fostering a community of blockchain enthusiasts across NASA Centers, we aim to pioneer decentralized solutions that align with the mission of exploration—"TO THE MOON and beyond”.
The strategic implications surrounding blockchain are 100% correlated to NASA's Integrated Logistic Support program within the enterprise. This club, while operating autonomously from NASA, is viewed by Logistics Management Division as an incubator to develop systems and research theoretical concepts. Encouraging cryptographic integrity within the supply chain, reducing the frequency and need for inventory validation, and preventing manipulation or corruption are all invaluable avenues to explore. Therefore, this club and its intended purpose has the complete backing of Logistics Management Division. It is our hope that that the SPACE BLOCKCHAIN CLUB will discover ways to create a more secure, transparent, accountable, and auditable supply chain system for tomorrow.
