There is no good way to buy #Bitcoin in a No-KYC non-custodial manner. And few are working on solving this. Annoying as there’s no goto recommendation to a friend that asked me about buying Bitcoin. Its infuriating

The biggest problem to Bitcoin is plebs getting rich too fast, but doesn’t get any less susceptible to $5 wrench attacks
Their understanding is attrocious.
- Throwing RT MTM around, without realizing that RT MTM means full reserved banking
- Not knowing that trying to do full reserved banking has been tried many times and rejected many times by regulators
- Friedberg’s communist idea of increasing taxes for the rich, without realizing that will go into a tax base death spiral
Everything that most Bitcoiner understand very well, while they openly mock Bitcoiners regularly, and embarrass themselves with such conviction that’s both cringe and a sight to behold at the same time.
If Bitcoin rises 40x, and USD devalues accordingly, within 90 days… Then Food and Bullets before Bitcoin…
Even I don’t buy $1M USD/BTC in 90 days. Even if the Fed printed every single dollar scot free from the ether to cover up all the difference on MTM treasuries debt that all the banks have, it won’t 40x the USD M2 to send Bitcoin to $1M. There’s a lot of existing obligations denominated in USD that people will buy USD to settle them. If USD falls enough, people will cover their USD obligations by buying USDs.

I am sure more devs will be arrested as the fight goes on, at least a few to create a chilling effect. Kudos to those not doing so anon/nym. But at the same time if there are any trusted roles (Github admins, etc), I’d want to make sure they have gained reputation on their nym, not their real life ID, as they are only one gun point away from rug pulling all of us.
Especially right now. LARPing about Bitcoin is bad enough. LARPing about decentralization when its obvious they are fighting us its suicide.
