I still want to believe it's about at least one of three things:
1. Being surrounded by maxis which will bring you to understanding as opposed to being surrounded by immoral shitcoiners which steer you away from deep understanding.
2. Asking the right questions but for that you need to understand IT little bit. Like how does this project benefits from slow, ineffective, decentralized database aka blockchain.
3. Extremely high morals that guide you.

I'll never forget the time when I asked the governor of the Czech National Bank why 2% inflation is considered good.
He responded by saying that there is no need to reinvent the wheel. All developed countries target 2% inflation and it's what all textbooks recommend.
I was stunned by his response. It was a blatant example of not thinking for himself and blindly following rules, even if they lead to his own downfall.
I lost all the hope and respect for people running my country.

I've got a call from scammer today.
Said I have 3.5 bitcoins in their Blockchain investment company from 7 years ago. (And the only way to retrieve it was to re-deposit 0.035 BTC to unlock my account)
I let him speak for minutes to waste as much of his time as I could.
Then I finally asked him how's his sleep. Considering he fills his days with scamming people...
He hung up. To be expected.
Sad story.
It's even more sad that unlike fractional reserve banking, cooking meth is also honest work...
I'd be depressed 15 years ago. Now I'm in peace and with popcorn 🍿 ready.
