Does #Nostr have any built-in defense against (D)DOS attacks? What prevents a client, or relay, from spamming the network?
If done right, it's literally just pushing bytes over the wire, whereas GraphQL at the very least involves JSON parsing, comparison, reconstruction, and serialization.
Maybe it'll lead to a more equal world, thus a more polite world?

An HTTP ("REST") API is certainly no more wasteful than GraphQL.
Define "better". To me, for APIs, better is something that is faster and push enabled. This means custom built endpoints.
GraphQL might make sense for certain use cases where you need custom queries, just like SQL, but it's too slow and wasteful for static endpoints.
And let me add that no one actually does REST, because it's nonsensical. It's just HTTP.
GraphQL is like embedded SQL. It's the wrong solution. And it's ugly too 🤷🏼♂️😂

Very interesting.
Why was Schnorr added to Bitcoin and not EdDSA?
Also, can you elaborate on what "Deterministic" refers to in this context?

So … when will someone produce an open-source secure element that supports Schnorr signing?
