Whatever happened to the guy who showed common sense and gestured with his hands?
I'd love to see a meme of his reaction to the US election π€£
Being an author is hard.
In school I'd give my work to someone and they'd tell me if I was done. They'd give me feedback or criteria for what should be in the text.
Being an adult means I need to make all the decisions myself!
Writing novels help me learn how to make decisions and to trust that whatever I choose will be okay, and there is no right answer I'm missing.
Just read a post about writing a book.
To write at least 1/3 before reading what you've written.
Eh, I have a different perspective. Since I write fiction, I first get into the world, I come up with scenes and get to know the characters.
Then while writing, I write some, then I sometimes read whatever I last wrote to help get back into it. I will sometimes do a rough edit of a section because by elevating the previous scene, I get into a flow state and then want to keep going.
I do agree with not getting super critical about what I've already written, but to keep going until it's done, as writing a book is not a one-and-done type thing, but more like a first draft of 5, where adding sections or connections that were missing is okay. Making sure all the rabbit trails end up somewhere.
I miss writing, I think that after a few months break, I'm finally ready to get back into it! I already know part of the story, I just need to tie it together and make sure my writing helps the reader feel like they're in the room.
If it's the government, they're simply taking back what they let us borrow in the first place, after forcing us to use their money.
I'm so grateful to Bitcoin because we finally have a non government alternative!!π
When a ketchup company makes jelly, I feel very suspicious!
"Mixed fruit jelly", are they claiming tomatoes are a fruit?! π¬π€£

I've been having a hard time uploading pictures, but maybe sharing memes would be easier π€
Awe thank you! I've now doubled it! π
The magic of #chiangmai is that if you get at least 1800 sats from a zap, you can turn that into a coffee or about 3000 sats for a regular beer, or 5555 sats for craft beer at Chit beer
While you can enjoy the tranquil nature outside with nature's remedies which you also use sats to purchase (ππΏ = 3000-4000 sats a gram)
Coffee

Regular beer (and food for about 8000 sats)

Craft beer

I need about 66040 sats to cover the phone bill. I've gotten a total of 32 sats today π€£
#1 ends in "Guard your rest like gold"
I'd venture to say, guard it like bitcoin, as guarding gold sounds a little stressful where as with Bitcoin we can simply take it into self custody and then be at peace π
Went on the Iris client and they have a section called "trending". I don't like it because random porn pops up. π
Yep, it's gonna look great on our resumes! ππ€£π€£π€£
...Unless those companies go out of business and need to liquidate all their assets...
Or when everyone uses bitcoin and they need to buy new equipment.
However, those days seem quite far away...
The difference between an amateur and a professional is that one gets paid...
We're all professional social media people on here!
Those who only use Instagram/X/Facebook/etc. need to work so hard to become professionals.
Just like how easy it is to win with Bitcoin vs fiat. π
Yeah, it's taking too long, and I need my energy for when it happens π€£π
Definitely had nothing to do with simply wanting dessert and wanting to try making cookies in the toaster oven.
Obviously, it was ONLY for the bitcoin price watching that I made them ππ€£
I've never been into sports, but watching the bitcoin price I kinda feel like it's the playoffs or something.
I'm expecting a ton of screaming people jumping up from their couches, popcorn flying, chest-bumping each other, taking laps around the room and grabbing their significant other's saying, "we did it babe!" ππ€£π€£
That's what they said about 68k when it hit it recently... didn't last long either π
+100k here we come π
What's your waiting-for-100k snack?
I just made cookies in an old toaster oven we got from my husband's dad.
Ok, bitcoin, go to 100 000 so we can have celebration cookies instead of just passing-the-time cookies (there's not that many) π€£
