Okay, as I was writing I wouldn't make April fools jokes, I thought of two I still wanna share.

1. My dad who develops electronics (hardware and software) has finally finished his teleportation device! 😎

2. Trump signs new executive order to officially redo 2020, and everyone is now one year younger! 😇🤣

I don't like being suspicious of everything I read, at least not more than usual.

I won't be making posting untruths today even as jokes, in case anyone is wondering and wants some fool free content during the rest of April 1st.

If I joke, it will be my normal silly, probably word play type, not the tricking kind.

I tried making a joke once, but people did believe it! I thought I had gone too big that everyone would get it, but even my mentor at the time had fallen for it, causing me to realize I was believing too little about myself.

The joke was that I'd been accepted into the senior leadership team of a huge church, even though I'd had no precious leadership role, and only attended their school. It was quite overwhelming to think that multiple people didn't think I was unqualified for such a role!

I mean, a lower level leadership role, I would have believed, but the SENIOR leadership? Really? Little me?! I wasn't even 25 at the time!

Also, that was the only time I made an April fool's joke. 😅🤣🤣

When I grew up, there was a 1:7 exchange rate to the US dollar.

I find it so sad when I go to the store now, and certain things have about the same price as the number I grew up with, except in dollars!

It's not everything yet, but it's too close for comfort.

Sometimes when I go to check if it's cloudy, my weather app tells me that it's so windy I can't see the sky. Not helpful if I wanna know if our solar system is working while we're away from home 🙄 the wind doesn't stop the sun, o ly the clouds do 🤣

Saw a video of people pulling protesters out of the way of cars. Two dudes were pulling one guy together, then a woman joined in, and grabbed someone by the hair. She moved a person all by herself.

Conclusion: if you wanna move a protester out of the way, pull them by the hair, not by their arms if you wanna be extra efficient 😎🤣🤣🤣

I grew up with the metric system, so for me that is the more Intuitive option. I'm trying to learn imperial, but it's hard.

I'm used to everything being even, so all the fractions are clear, but when weighing something at a store and needing to write the lb. When there are 12 (I believe) lines in between, not 10, makes it really hard. It's not 4.5, unless it's supposed to be 4.05 cause later in oudl be written 4.11. Or, is it 4.5lb, or 4lb and 6 (whatever lower measurement is called, I don't even know)

But also, I am familiar with 20cm being the length between my thumb and little finger tips if I stretch out my hand, but no clue how to get a rough estimate using inches.

And if someone says something is 20 feet, I'll stare at them blankly 🤣 though if you say 10m, I might do the same, but at least I can calculate that pretty quickly 😅

We'll be teaching our kids both systems to they don't need to wonder like most of us 😎
