there is multisig on your own, which is a bit advanced (in that you have to secure multiple keys and the xpub), and there are at least two companies that do assisted multisig for a fee, Casa and Unchained. I liken this fee to fees I might pay a bank or investment advisor, fees to help keep me secure and let me sleep better at night.

Another angle is inheiretance planning. Multisig may play into that.

The important thing is to go slow, learn, practice. Its better to start simple with things you well understand (one hardware wallet). Many of the recommendations here come from people that have been in the space 5 years and they have evolved to their current position.
