I lost my complete following, and slowly been getting it back but I think it had something to do with either the extension I just used or iris or nostrgram can’t tell I was doing too much at once, had just finished using the follow all feature on iris which doesn’t really ever show me all my followers and then I went to go see badges on nostrgram and everything was good looking at global, but soon as I clicked following feed got a scary error message so screenshotted it came to Damus to dm the dev & then went to feed & NOBODY was there. Smh can anybody recommend a client that allows me to follow all which isn’t snort or iris, or a good way to follow all my followers back which isn’t manually… pls & thank you 😭🫂

i'm testing it out. one thing i'm noticing with iris.to is that i often have to refresh the browser to get the timeline to update. not sure why.

Hey, I can't play some .mov videos with Iris, but they will work just fine with Snort and Coracle using same browser (Brave on PC and Brave on Android).

if a post is reposted, not sure what the circle arrows icon is, only seeing it once. atm if a post is reposted by many people i will see it many times and it clogs up my feed

That makes sense. You'd think Chrome + macOS would be fine w/.mov since, afaik MOV only exists because of Apple! Actually, I guess the real test in that case would be Safari.

Yup. Python can do anything python can do (couldn't play the videos in Iris, but it all sounds right).

A lot of (er, all?) the onscreen security checks people occasionally ask for end up just being security theater since a compromised SD card can show you whatever it wants onscreen. Removing the SD card in the new SeedSigner OS def helps. And when the MicroPython port is done, there'll be firmware-level checks that will make "evil" SD cards much more difficult/impossible(?).

For some reason iris.to is not delivering my posts to relays

Just checked my Amethyst app and it seems to be working properly. I mostly use Iris on the desktop, which is where I'm seeing the problem.

The text box has to be slightly larger after it has been selected!

To have tip jar for Iris at somewhere more obvious yet subtle like under the drop down list. Maybe a reminder on tipping Iris every now via the pop up Iris has or other means
