When will Nostr be announcing its rate limits?

I want to do something new for my rust client. I want a desktop client that can replace email use cases.

Because of no standards bodies?

I don’t know who trust now. Twitter was bought to give power and freedom to people it ended up with $8 blue check and now rate limits. I’m afraid of what’s next with Nostr too!

Really it's just a fancy way to render a text file, but since it's in emacs that means it has loads of ways to interact with the file. Here's an example layout with dummy data for how I usually organize my notes. Every week I make a new .org file then fill it out like this as the days go on. My favorite bonus is all of these headlines "fold", to make navigating around a huge file easier. And you can nest subtasks near infinitely if you end up doing huge project management with it.

Really the biggest drawback to this is: for phones, org file support kind of sucks. They are technically just text files, but I can think of only 1 app that renders the files nice like this on a phone.

I don’t think it’s gotten worse. Better in many ways, completed and finished a lot of the things we started, made some execution mistakes out of speed in my view, but all correctable.

Going private was the only path forward for the company. The timing of the sale really screwed things up tho.

Honestly nothing compares to it for me in terms of keeping track of tasks. Which is kind of depressing when you think about it, no single task management app flows as nice for me as org-mode does. I have a deep love for org mode though, if it weren't for that and emacs as a whole I wouldn't be using linux every day.

Was that your point? If so, I do agree. It’s an insane incarceration rate, and yet crime in America is not exclusive to big cities.

Next time you’re on holiday in the US rent a bike in some town and leave it unattended and unlocked for a few days. Prove your theory.

I would say that is an anecdote.

I don’t know what city you live in but it that is statistically not true. If it were then the average town shouldn’t have more than one cop and no jail or criminal courts.

If not only in Japan, then I don’t know where else you can leave your bike unlocked an unattended on the public sidewalk. It’s like this all over Tokyo. You wouldn’t want to try that in San Francisco or Portland.
