Sometimes I catch myself following brand loyalty for no reason at all even when it screws with me a bit or something else can do the same job better. I can correct myself after I catch it, but I don't always catch it. So weird.
The best part of the colder weather is getting warm again! Coffee tastes better and tonight I'll light a fire in the fireplace. It's the most wonderful time of the year!
Getting into the multitasking didn't "feel" good with gestures. That was the only reason I'm went back to buttons. Otherwise I liked it.
Aye, our buddies might stick around for longer! 🤌

I still have my PSP and this is encouraging me to get it back in working order. Bet I could have a lot of fun with it!

What people expect from friendships have changed. At least for me.
Back in the day I'd talk and hang out with once in a blue moon and we'd pick up where we left off like nothing. I'm noticing now people have an expectation of you being available for a phone call at any time of most days, even when they have nothing to say.
I'm *very* happy with nostr:npub1wjwj5r9ytyhgg7nwmy75t8xrhphw6c8kq94fuv0qdjg6g0fruffq02ue5t's Proton Pass offering. Given I work across iOS, iPadOS and (mainly) Windows it works a lot better than iCloud passwords. I like it so much so I was tempted to upgrade to email as well, though the jump in cost from just using one product to more is quite steep. I don't need VPN, or cloud storage, but you need to get all, or nothing it seems.
If you do pay for the email might as well buy a domain name and get a personalized email. It's pretty fun to have something unique and show to people.
That spot seems designed for cats! Lol

Someone in the thread said something that makes a lot of sense: It's iPad babies growing into iPhone teenagers.
I bought this adapter because it was a little over a buck, but it's been so useful! I need to find a faster one. I think this is still sick in USB 2.0

Like co pilot on Edges mobile browser? That would be pretty cool. I could see people getting use out of it.
I was using an app to study for a quiz for an upcoming job, Quizlet. They let you make your own flash cards or share them online then you can ask AI to provide more details.
For example the flash card might be a question one side and answer on the other, but you could ask AI to explain why that's the answer with more detail.
They used your front-end, why didn't they use your back-end too?
Steam Deck OLED is HERE! It’s real! I have it! OMG

The refresh looks great! If I had the disposable income I'd definitely go for the update.
I think nostr:npub18n4ysp43ux5c98fs6h9c57qpr4p8r3j8f6e32v0vj8egzy878aqqyzzk9r had you beat there. Lol
So like, those are all small businesses thriving?
Maaaan. I'd like a modern controller with the six face button configuration. This one ain't it, but there's nothing else so I'll be willing to settle for this until something else comes along. I'm hoping 8bitdo comes up with something to compete with Retrobit's design.

Bought an SFC2000 for a friend's kid. Can't afford to buy them a Nintendo Switch, but the classics are still plenty fun.
One thing I learned, setting up some game emulators for another friend's kid, you need to give them a catered list of games to play though, not just every game for a console. Otherwise the choices will be daunting and they'll never play anything.
