How would you feel if every note had an option to run chatgpt or similar on it to give an assessment of the arguments (for and against), provide context, references, and any other number of things you can think of?

Basically a DVM within the client for each note.

very intriguing idea. i like it 🤙🏻💜

as a tool it would be awesome and save on pre-post research etc. the potential issue would of course be gpt arguing with itself. but just like music, if you don't have an actual understanding of the communication, no one will follow/listen...so hell yeah, lfg 🤙🏻

because...honestly, it's only a matter of time until this is expected

I don’t know a data vending machine is and at this point I don’t get why I would care if that aren’t in the client.

I said in client. What I described :)

Right, that’s what I’m saying. It makes sense in a client but I don’t see why the majority of people would even know about DVMs let alone use them. Things like this in clients or at least through clients like you describe would be much better in my opinion.

Yes and how would you feel about that function? Useful, not useful?

I think it would be useful for those long-form posts. Maybe because it’s a certain “kind” or post (from what I remember) it could be more prominent on those.

Summary option?

Removes the human element, so not a fan 🐶🐾🫡

bad, i would feel bad

Y

Would be kinda cool.

If I had this feature, I could tell you all the reasons why this would be a bad idea. That could be quite useful.

What are the reasons?

Yes

This would be an interesting experiment to test out 🤔 I think Nostr needs some sort of AI integration, but perhaps separated as a tool? How would the data be trained and updated?

You’d select your own model

Would it be a different model on each note?

must a option to enable n disable

will never use gpt unless

- Q is complex

- suitable for gpt

いいね🤙

Can you make sure it doesn’t accurately judge all my posts as regarded?

This would be sick!

It would be great if it could send a PM analysing the conversation and providing resources for discussion.

If it posted it in the conversation, it would be a bit of a jerk move and a conversation stopper.

This would all be within the widget that shows in a corner of your screen (or bottom card if mobile). You would not see any of the content as a reply.

Yeah that would be cool to do a quick proof read of important notes.

It might cause people to abuse it but there's always the mute & unfollow button.

i think one highly underappreciated feature is the search function and it would be a major boost to incorporate AI solutions /DVMs to it

problem of this things is that they are often biased. Maybe being able to integrate extended AI models so that the bias spectrum is wider lol

Like co pilot on Edges mobile browser? That would be pretty cool. I could see people getting use out of it.

I was using an app to study for a quiz for an upcoming job, Quizlet. They let you make your own flash cards or share them online then you can ask AI to provide more details.

For example the flash card might be a question one side and answer on the other, but you could ask AI to explain why that's the answer with more detail.
