The trial was you had to climb an infinite staircase up to a certain point. The challenge was you couldn’t eat any food the entire way up, only water. They told me it took them about 100 days. Would you do this? Sounds pretty hard.

i think it's pretty much a sign of the times that even reasonable men on nostr don't even realise that scissors haven't been a commonly accessible tool until the renaissance and at best there was shears, crafted out of copper and steel

Lol, I think you are agreeing with me and calling me a communist. I said that cutting hair with knives etc existed BUT NOT LIKE TODAY. It would be a fairly infrequent thing and not cut short.

But yes I have sharpened a knife to where I could shave with it. Yes it is hard and I generally don't have the time or patience now.

I find myself frequently deciding to "not like" content that is boosted. Not because I didn't like the content, but because I don't have any established relationship with the original author. Some likes are about validating the note- others are about validating the author.

What I can't wrap my head around is who would want to live in a world where zaps are the only way to measure validation? Yikes. Could not be me. 😋
