Gaah! Why do Internet providers have sales people cold-calling me who know nothing about the product they are selling?
Me: "your upload speeds and Acceptable Use Policy don't allow me to experiment with hosting services from my home"
Caller: has no idea what an
AUP or hosting are and keeps reiterating that they have gigabit downloads
Me clarifying: I am not interested in streaming shows and movies. I want to be able to make connections to my home network from outside it.
Caller excited: "You can access all your streaming services from our mobile app and watch anywhere!"

europe didn't even have scissors until the renaissance, come on, how were these men cutting their hair exactly?
They did have razors and knives. Remember Levites took a vow to never cut their hair. Some hair cutting must have been the norm. Probably nothing like the haircut I have.
The only men that can pull off long hair are men with wigs.
For the the rest it remains firmly attached, tug as they might.

Honestly, the best validation is a thoughtful reply. I am here for the conversations so if something I post sparks a conversation that is enormously validating.
