100%. Over the past 48 hours, I've been feeling so antsy in a call of action sort of way. I want to actively go out and do things to help protect free speech. Other than be honest and call out ridiculous beliefs that friends and family spout about gun ownership or freedom of speech, and voting for politicians who support these two important things, I'm unsure what else to do.

Is the music AI-generated or is it by a particular artist? It's a banger.
The movie hits differently as a bitcoiner. It was like watching and enjoying it for the first time.
Great video, Matt. How does David Sacks fit into the scenario you described at the end of the video?
So true. Been thinking about 6 lot in terms of art and proof of work. I only want art that someone performed proof of work to create. I also have a new found respect for things that took years to create. Proof of work is so important in every aspect of life. The others on the list become apparent when you understand Bitcoin, and it’s sometimes sad. I sort of miss the days of being ignorant and thinking the government was doing the things that were in my best interest. And just buying index funds and being a little normie in the world not knowing how money worked. I would def choose the current path because I prefer knowing the truth and I’m creating generational wealth with Bitcoin. But you can never look at the world the same way ever again.
The answer is right in front of them. Good on you for trying to help people nostr:npub1k7vkcxp7qdkly7qzj3dcpw7u3v9lt9cmvcs6s6ln26wrxggh7p7su3c04l I heard something recently - “if I tried to tell you about bitcoin, it’s because I love you”.
Well said nostr:npub1k7vkcxp7qdkly7qzj3dcpw7u3v9lt9cmvcs6s6ln26wrxggh7p7su3c04l The future going to be fascinating to witness, and I couldn’t be more optimistic. Merry Christmas to you and your family!
nostr:npub1rtlqca8r6auyaw5n5h3l5422dm4sry5dzfee4696fqe8s6qgudks7djtfs had dinner with local Bitcoiners, where we discussed the SBR and they weren't bullish on it because they think it won't be passed in Congress due to the public's lack of education on Bitcoin. They think constituents will be upset about selling gold to buy Bitcoin, and that this whole SBR is a lot of narrative noise. I saw your video today with Alex and always appreciate your perspectives. You seem bullish on it and mentioned they're trying to get this passed soon. You really think this has an honest shot of passing and being implemented?
We did a Plebwalk in my city this morning and talked about your thesis on building a new system (Bitcoin, deflation, abundance) outside of the current system (fiat, proof of war, inflation/theft), and how that makes it so difficult for our loved ones stuck in the existing system to see the truth. I love how you lay this out and really enjoyed your book. Would love to see a part 2 that continues on this subject.

I would obsessively watch WBD and now I find myself watching your shows frequently. When my YouTube home page loads and I see your show's thumbnail, I get excited and usually drop what I'm doing to watch. Good stuff, man - keep the signal coming.
I've come around on the 2A. I used to be anti-guns but I thought more deeply about it and (to your point in the video) read history books about the American Revolution, and I think the 2A is an important and unique attribute of our constitution. Also, logically with 3D printers and manufacturers selling ghost guns, there will always be guns in circulation and criminals will be able to get them. The 2A at least enables us to protect ourselves from this and from our government (which is why it's so important to be a student of history to understand why we would ever need protection from our government).
I love watching you and nostr:npub1s5yq6wadwrxde4lhfs56gn64hwzuhnfa6r9mj476r5s4hkunzgzqrs6q7z school folks on Twitter around this UK crackdown. It’s pretty insane and I have been thinking about it all day. What’s challenging is people can’t see the obvious disadvantages to this or tend to justify the crackdown to “protect society/bring back order”. No, we need absolute free speech - full stop. Thankful to have Nostr.
