Bitcoin scaling seems to have a huge complexity problem. Lightning barely works today, and cannot perform the necessary transaction throughput for the whole population. Seems like the only solutions being discussed like fedi, liquid, are custodial. I want Bitcoin to be permissionless and non custodial for everyone. I know it can be done. I'm just not sure what solutions exist today, if any. Most likely it's a solution that hasn't been thought of yet.

Well that just ain't proper murica then sister

😂

Update: I still DGAF about a #bitcoin ETF. Would much rather see grassroots adoption and self custody grow, especially in areas of the world that need it most. Fuck wall st and the suits.

It's a pessimistic outlook of what bitcoins future could be given current events. I don't think this is bitcoins future, but it's important to think about so that it can be avoided

While I don't support Binance or CZ, the recent news along with Kraken and ETF news got me feeling a kind of way. What is Bitcoins future?

- only highly regulated KYC'ed exchanges exist. All alternatives are squashed. Peer-to-peer trading outlawed

- ETF's play huge role in market

- public miners forced to censor OFAC sanctioned countries.

- all fiat gains incur major tax, because "you got lucky"

- self custody outlawed

- all transactions are taxable events, Bitcoins medium of exchange potential never takes off

Haven't tried using it with robosats but robosats has a list of compatible wallets to use in their docs

WOW. nostr:npub1mutnyacc9uc4t5mmxvpprwsauj5p2qxq95v4a9j0jxl8wnkfvuyque23vg is next level. Setup Mutiny PWA on GrapheneOS and was zapping on amethyst in no time. Excellent UX🤝

Officially a judo white belt!🥋

I use a PWA for my bank. All I need to do on mobile is check my balance. For gps I am using google maps.😬 I've installed it through aurora store using an anonymous account, never sign into Google maps, and disable GPS when I don't need it. I'm sure there are some other options, I just haven't gotten to it yet.

After migrating to #grapheneos last month, I can confidentially say I never want to enter the walled gardens of apple or google again. This OS is extremely user friendly and compatible with my daily life. And it's only going to get better as time goes on. If you're on the fence, make the jump.
