Unbelievable that Google, the company responsible for Android and a tonne of apps, cannot figure out a well-integrated Windows experience for their workspace tools

Ya man I can't stand these apps, much better to meet through common interest groups, churches, or friend connections. The awkward texting and what felt like constant elevator pitches... never again!

Datomic and Nostr seem like natural bedfellows

Public Bitcoin addresses for all ETF's, or bust

To be fair, Windows doesn't require regular interactions with a text terminal to do basics. "Follow these instructions to add a repository so that..." yeah no.

Nostr feeds being chronological is mostly a weakness. We rip on "the algorithm" but I'm 100% fine with an algo that has some idea of what I would like to see or respond to, and place those first, and then offer chronological loose ends. We're not awake or online at the same times; I don't want to have to scroll through every single post between now and 6 hours ago to find out that the Coldcard Q was finally offered in gold flake.

Two-party politics at work. You can't agree on a single issue, you must be polar opposites on everything, can't agree with the "other side". And since the US basically controls public perception, media, news, etc, we all have to witness and discuss this nonsense.
