Me: I'm still buying every payday.
Cw: Even at these prices, why?
Me: If something is finite and there's more and more demand, the price is gonna go up.
Cw: what about the other coins?
Me: They are are all centralized and have CEO'S with their bags full.

My conclusion, this guy may have been "happy" for me getting in 2012ish, but doesn't get or want to learn about the why of bitcoin or how it works ect.
Maybe he was fishing for my worth in BTC also, either way I doubt I'll hear about it from him till we hit 200k. Then maybe he'll get some at the price he deserves.
