Tiramisu. God. Bitcoin. Drivechain. In that order.

@/30 Todd totally misses the jab at equivalence in impact with opentimestamps(his pet project). In fencing that's called "touché". At this point he's already lined up his next counter, based on his poor mental model of the idea, and hasn't integrated ANY of his previous complete misses.

Stick to cock rings Todd ( What i call single use seals for his BDSM fetish)

@/23 so if one namecoin is economically insignificant, what would be the impact on bitcoin miners be if there where 200,000 million small insignificant namecoins MM bitcoin right now ?

I really hate this counter-argument because it bypasses the technical argument attempted by using namecoin as an example, and jumps to an economic usecase example. It's like saying planes will never work because birds can't carry human passengers.

@/10:20 i think it was a joke, but if accurate explanations need to be entertaining to gather support for changes in bitcoin, we are fucked.

What's funny is if you watch the clip without sound the first time, one thinks it's a hobby project, like a science experiment or some sort of miner rack (because of the bitcoin context).

And then BAM.

Miner risk is isolated to participants, not bitcoin in general.

The people who's opinion you trust often have a conflict of interest. Consider that, when judging their statements.

Many are funded by or have close relationships with Blockstream who stand to lose their investment and research hopes in Liquid. DC is an open and more private type of Liquid.

Others have their own pet projects they claim will offer the same features, but DC's code is ready now.

NO WAY ! You guys are awesome ! Now with BTC ? Wow, blown away, just got better.

You're one of the real life practical cornerstone proofs of voluntarism for me.

It depends.

In a H2H fight, sure. But then even a lightweight trained Bjj beats a weightlifter.

A gun, kind of equalizes physical combat, and has for centuries.

A lifter can't chase after a sprinter.

Keep in mind, i'm not arguing for being weak. I have just concluded that calisthenics, short sprints and stretching, in the style of Ido Flow and a good diet of raw organs, eggs and meats are optimal for health and strength, and strain on the body.

For instance, Gym culture is mostly based around isolated muscles, which means most of the body, the parts that don't attract girls, are weak. So that's a type weakness. I would bet on a third world cement hauler vs a gym bro, any day. Both are damaging their long term survival though.

walking and stretching are exercise. So not all exercise.

Gym culture and intense sport, yes.

Again, the body will adapt to stressors, but stressors over prolonged periods do not increase longevity
