Hopefully Bitcoiners and especially Bitcoin node runners always seek the truth and never let themselves be fooled by bad propaganda and lies.
Nodes decide what Bitcoin is. Bitcoiners can vote using their node. And my hope there always be a good node that Bitcoiners can choose for their vote.
