We have a plan β‚Ώ! Why #Bitcoin is the human and ecological opportunity for our planet.

A CONVERSATION WITH GREENPEACE

The meme should also not mean that electric cars are bad, it just doesn't heal the environment if the desire to consume remains in an economy that is constantly aiming for growth. :)

This graphic is interesting! However, one has to take into account the damage to be expected as the earth's temperature increases - a lot of damage occurs gradually, for example the drying out of areas, the extinction of species, the drinking water problem, etc.

Waste of money that does more harm than good to the climate - since 1971 (WTF Happened in 1971?)

An ecological trend reversal is not possible with an inflationary economic system. Let real change happen and not tinker with symptoms.

Oil and gas have certainly been important to human life and survival, but now it's time to move largely away from fossil fuels to renewable energies.

Why?

The amount makes the poison - even with CO2.

In the last few decades, due to human activities, too much CO2 has entered the troposphere of the earth, it stays there for a long time and acts as a kind of seal, so that the heat from incoming sun rays can no longer be dissipated to the outside (greenhouse effect).

The life and survival of many people worldwide is endangered by the rapid, short-term heating of the earth (droughts, hunger, natural disasters), since such rapid anthropogenic adaptation is not possible.

For this reason, we should reduce CO2 and other greenhouse gases such as methane as much as possible - #Bitcoin can help here in many ways!

There are several points. In addition to the expansion of renewable energies and the social prosperity of all people worldwide (yes, this is also important for climate protection), it is important not to tinker with pseudo-solutions, but to move away from an inflationary economic system to a disinflationary system that allows progress beyond the growth.

Environmental activist vs. Bitcoin environmental activist

Don't worry, the research takes all of this into account.

The data show unnatural, excessive warming over the last few decades, which is clearly due to human-caused greenhouse gases (mainly CO2). There is greater than 99% consensus on human caused climate change in the peer-reviewed scientific literature. => https://iopscience.iop.org/article/10.1088/1748-9326/ac2966/pdf

Here's a good article too: https://www.dw.com/en/fact-check-why-climate-change-is-real/a-62482188

I agree with you, alarmism is not good, but the climate data should be taken seriously.

Bitcoiners believe in physics - rightly so, it is the basis of the best monetary system in the world. But why isn't that the case with the climate? A much too fast, man-made climate change is scientifically clear:

I think that's a good answer! Bitcoin itself can make a very valuable contribution to environmental protection - we both know how.

Regarding the climate: Of course one could doubt it, but there is greater than 99% consensus on human-caused climate change in the peer-reviewed scientific literature. => https://iopscience.iop.org/article/10.1088/1748-9326/ac2966/pdf

The scientific data is very clear and many factors have been taken into account (precession of the earth, position of the earth in relation to the sun, solar winds, etc.), but the greenhouse effect from man-made CO2 is the largest factor in global warming in the short term (see graph and following article: https://www.dw.com/en/fact-check-why-climate-change-is-real/a-62482188 )

#Bitcoin is the only money that can be described as property.

Our economic system has a fever! Crucial now: In addition to the energy transition, we need a disinflationary monetary system that prioritizes progress over growth and encourages savings and the circular economy => #Bitcoin #healthymoney #gesundesgeld

#Bitcoin does not have an energy problem. But does it have a CO2 problem? And what could we do? Here is the Twitter survey: https://twitter.com/BTCersforfuture/status/1638077283423379459?s=20
